Daniel Harman

Chef Harman leads the Kuro team with more than 15 years of culinary experience and a deep love of cooking established by getting involved in family cooking at a young age. “We never made anything fancy, but the time in the kitchen as a child was the foundation of my culinary journey.” Chef Harman believes that food makes memories and is an essential part of any travel experience.

Chef Harman was born in South Korea and grew up in Alexandria, Virginia. He graduated from Drexel University in 2006 with a degree in Culinary Arts. Chef Harman has been with Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Atlantic City since its opening in 2018. Previously, he worked as Banquet Chef at Borgata for 11 years.



Kuro boasts a tempting menu of Japanese specialties. Ingredients are locally sourced or imported directly from Japan, and the menu perfectly balances the flavors of the Far East.
