Executive Chef John Zaitoun is a recently returned New Jersey native. He discovered his love and respect for the culinary arts at a young age working at his parent’s diner in Northfield, New Jersey. Chef Zaitoun attended culinary school at Atlantic Cape Community College, and after completing the program in 2012, he joined Fuze Restaurant in Avalon, New Jersey.
After working through different positions at Fuze, Chef Zaitoun accepted a position as a Sous Chef at Saint Anejo, M Street’s premier Mexican restaurant in Nashville, Tennessee. He then expanded his repertoire working as a Sous Chef at the luxury property, Omni Nashville Hotel.
Chef Zaitoun’s personal culinary style is influenced by his Mediterranean upbringing and his love of fresh ingredients. Outside of cooking, he is an avid Yankees and Eagles fan.
