Atlantic City Boardwalk

Perhaps the city’s most iconic attraction, the Atlantic City Boardwalk dates all the way back to 1870 and was first built to help hotel owners keep sand out of their lobbies. Now it’s lined with concession stands, attractions, and some of the city’s most famous landmarks, like Boardwalk Hall and a row of iconic casinos. Hard Rock Atlantic City just so happens to be the only hotel with direct access.
Steel Pier Amusement Park

Steel Pier is another piece of old AC, originally built in 1898. Over the years it’s hosted big-name concerts, including Frank Sinatra and Diana Ross, and offered fun games and thrilling rides. The most recent addition was a giant Ferris wheel in 2017, which offers spectacular views of the coast.
Atlantic City Beach

You’ll be missing out if you come all the way to Atlantic City and don’t enjoy the Atlantic itself. If you’re staying at Hard Rock Atlantic City, you’ll have direct access to the sand. Try surfing, kayaking, or windsurfing, or just soak up some sun and do a bit of people watching.
Absecon Lighthouse

When you’re ready for a change of scenery, visit Absecon Lighthouse. Built in 1857, it’s the tallest lighthouse in all of New Jersey. Take the 10-minute walk from Hard Rock Atlantic City and enjoy the impressive views from the top.
Tanger Outlets

Once you win big at the casinos, take your winnings over to Tanger Outlets. You’ll find plenty of big-name stores and designer boutiques — like Nike, Adidas, Michael Kors, and Lacoste — and thanks to those outlet prices, you’ll definitely feel like a high roller.
